  • The abstract topic should be selected from one of the specific themes listed below:
  • Basic and Translational Research
  • Challenging and Interesting cases
  • Diagnostic and Treatment strategies
  • Innovations: New devices or novel approaches, preclinical or clinical
  • Lung Cancer
  • Robot-Assisted Thoracic Surgery
  • Single-Port Surgery
  • Other

Abstract Content

1) Title

  • No more than 150 characteristics
  • The first letter of each word should be capitalized, except for prepositions, conclusions and articles
  • Abbreviations are not allowed in the title

2) Content

  • Abstract for Scientific Lecture: 350 words with subtitles
  • Case Report: 250 words without subtitles
  • Case Videos: 5 minutes for abstract review
  • Table and images: A maximum of one table or one image is allowed
  • Allowed video file formats: MOV, MP4, and WMV
  • File size must not exceed 150 Mb

Notes

  • 1) Registration for ISC 2027 is mandatory for abstract submission. Abstracts will only be accepted if both submission and registration are completed.
  • 2) Abstracts must be written and submitted in English only.
  • 3) All abstracts, including revisions, must be submitted by Mar 5(Sun), 2027.
  • 4) All abstracts must be submitted online.
  • 5) All abstracts will be reviewed and classified as oral presentation, poster presentation, or rejected.
  • 6) Please attach photos of both the presenter and the corresponding author. These photos will be used exclusively for the conference abstract book.
  • 7) If your abstract is accepted for an oral presentation, a full manuscript may be submitted to the European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (Supplement/Special Issue).

Prizes and Awards

The Scientific Committee will select the award winners. Authors may apply for one of the following awards during the abstract submission process:


1) Best Oral presentation Award

  • Travel Grant : USD 400

2) Best Video Award

  • Travel Grant : USD 300

3) Best Poster Award

  • Travel Grant : USD 200
